S mall importers in Came roon will soon have a simpler way to manage international trade, fol lowing the rollout of an inte grated digital solution developed by fintech company REasy in partnership with Africa Global Logistics (AGL). The solution designed to bring together key stages of the import process, including supplier payments, cargo consolidation, transpor tation, and shipment tracking, was presented in Douala to traders and importers. For many small businesses importing goods, particularly from China, the process often involves dealing separately with suppliers, payment providers, transport operators, and other intermediaries. According to the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of REasy, Brice Mba, the fragmenta tion can increase administrative difficulties, costs, and delivery times. The new platform seeks to centralise these operations through a digital application. Customers can initiate pay ments to suppliers using a pro forma invoice, while logistics arrangements are coordinated digitally. AGL, drawing on its international logistics network, handles the physical transpor tation of goods and provides shipment tracking. REasy, AGL China and AGL Ca meroon have completed a first consolidated container involving several clients.
