Over FCFA 680 Billion ADB Investment

The African Development Bank (AfDB) investment in Cameroon over the last four years amounts to more than 1 billion US Dollars (circa FCFA 680 billion). The revelation was made recently by the country representative of the continental bank; Racine Kane during an evaluation meeting of AfDB sponsored projects. The engagements are essentially in the areas of infrastructural development (transport and energy), urbanisation, water, agriculture (Development of value chain amongstothers. Some of the prominent projects the bank has carried out include the Bamenda-Enugu road, Phase II of Ketta-Djoum road of the Yaounde-Brazzaville Corridor, Yaounde drainage system amongst others.
