T he General Manager of the Cameroon Develop ment Corporation (CDC), Franklin Ngoni Njie, via a notice published in the state daily dated September 14 2026, opened a competitive bidding process aimed at selecting tech nical advisory teams capable of driving the agro-industrial giant’s modern expansion. The selected consulting agency will take full operational charge of the twin projects namely the installation and commissioning of a palm oil processing plant in CDC Idenau in the Southwest region and a rubber processing plant at CDC Pendamboko in the Littoral region. The agency will manage everything from initial engineering validation and procurement supervision to quality assurance, cost control, risk management, and final commissioning tests. This comprehensive mandate is designed to ensure that both industrial facilities meet inter national performance bench marks while optimizing output for two of the corporation’s primary commodity divisions. To qualify for selection, bidding firms must demonstrate exten sive international experience in agro-industrial project mana gement, be ready to deploy a team of senior engineers with 15 to 20 years experience across civil, mechanical, electrical, and process disciplines and holding a bachelors or master’s degree depending on the post.
