Credit Mutuel d’investissement: 15 Years Serving Financial Inclusion

On this occasion, the micro-finance is hosting a weeklong celebration from July 18th to 24th, 2026, in Yaoundé.

F ounded on the core principles of trust, solidarity, and inno­ vation, Crédit Mutuel d’Investissement du Cameroun (CREMIN-CAM) is celebrating its 15th anniversary. Establi­ shed in 2009 by staff from the Directorate General of the Treasury (DGTCFM) under the Ministry of Finance, this accredited Category 1 Micro­ finance Institution (MFI) has spent a decade and a half driving local development through member-focused financial solutions. Operating under standard CO­ BAC regulations, the savings and credit cooperative has es­ tablished itself as an essential player in Cameroon’s microfinance landscape, championing economic empowerment and financial inclusion for thousands of members and partners across the country. In fifteen years of her existence, the leadership of the financial institution affirm to have driven local development by offering tailored financial solu­ tions to micro entrepreneurs, and community partners found within the national triangle. It is with this backdrop that the financial institution, decided to mark this crystal jubilee, through a weeklong special anniversary celebration under the theme “fifteen years of commitment, innovations and impact at the service of our members”....
